The fur seals have been found debilitated returned Oct. 28 to the sea. In Friday morning the fur seals were taken to the Laje de Santos, 40 miles from the city of Santos, Sao Paulo. The operation was attended Marine State Park of the Laje de Santos, Institute Laje Viva and some volunteers, TV and newspaper, A Tribuna, were present to cover the operation.
The expectation of the manager of Gremar, veterinary Andréa Maranho, is that they hitched a ride with the branches of the Malvinas Current, which is near the coast, and return to their natural breeding area in Uruguay.
